overlander.events is run by Danan Enterprises Inc., a Florida corporation. By using the site you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site is

A free calendar of overland expos, rallies, shows, and meetups. We list events run by other people. We are not the organizer, the promoter, or the ticket seller for any event on this site unless the listing plainly says so.

Event information is a best effort

We gather dates, locations, prices, and links from organizers and public sources, and we check the calendar every week. Even so, events move, sell out, change venue, and get cancelled, sometimes with no notice to us. Always confirm the details on the organizer's own site before you book travel or buy a ticket. We do not guarantee that anything here is current, complete, or correct, and we are not responsible for a trip you take based on a listing that turned out to be wrong.

Links to other sites

Ticket links and organizer links lead to sites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, their terms, their privacy practices, or anything you buy from them. Your transaction is with them, not with us. Some links may carry a referral tag that tells the organizer the visit came from this site.

Submitting an event

Anyone can submit an event through the "Add an event" form. By submitting one you confirm that you have the right to share the information, and you give us permission to publish it, edit it for length and house style, and keep it in our records. We review every submission and we publish, edit, or decline at our discretion. Nothing goes live automatically.

Do not submit anything false, misleading, spammy, or someone else's copyrighted material.

Using the site

You may browse the calendar, subscribe to it, and share links to it freely. Please do not scrape the site wholesale, hammer it with automated traffic, attempt to break into it, or copy the listings in bulk to rebuild them somewhere else. The site's design, text, photographs, and the way the calendar is assembled belong to Danan Enterprises Inc. Event names, logos, and trademarks belong to their own owners.

Emails

If you give us your address you are agreeing to receive the event calendar and related notes. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and it works. How we handle your address is set out in our privacy policy.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Danan Enterprises Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from any event you attend or fail to attend because of it. This includes travel costs, ticket costs, and lost time. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Pinellas County, Florida.
